Course Introduction:

The PhD in Information Technology is mainly aimed at those majors that focus on computer research and development, and can quickly adapt to the global multicultural and international business environment.


Course features:

Deeply expand knowledge and understand international information technology;

Enhance professional skills, such as information technology, computer science, information systems, and expand professional fields;

Utilize independent research skills, enhance information technology insights, expand, and challenge the world.


Learning/Research Methods:

All graduate students can take an essential course in advanced research design to equip themselves with research skills;

On the basis of completing the course, one can freely choose any course;

Completing a mandatory and elective course can lead to writing a thesis.


Research field:

Module 1: Research Methods (3 credits);

Module 2: Postdoctoral Seminar/Advanced Statistics/Advanced Algorithms (3 credits);

Module 3: Thesis (9 credits).


Admission Qualifications:

Hold a master's degree in a field certified by the Malaysian government or an equivalent qualification as an adult in the IUKL Senate;


In order to complete the subject, candidates should be proficient in English and must pass an English test.


International students are required to achieve an IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL score of 537, Cambridge Linguaskill score of 169, or a graduate degree taught in English or recognized by the Senate in English.


Duration: 3-5 years
